E.E.G. (ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAM)

An E.E.G. is a test that detects abnormalities in your brain waves or in the electrical activity of brain.

To evaluate several types of brain disorder, when epilepsy is present, seizure activity will appear as rapid spiking waves on the E.E.G.

The electrodes attached to your scalp with a special paste or gel.

E.E.G. is painless procedure. It records brain waves through electrodes.

The procedure will takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending upon co-operation of the patient.
